The Yogurt Obsessed

Nov01

Guilty. I adore yogurt, I love it so much, I think that I could spend my entire time in the grocery store in the yogurt section and love it, I fancy myself a bit of a yogurt aficionado, so, I thought I'd share some of my favorites.

Greek Yo

I know that Fage is the big deal in greek yogurt, but I personally prefer Oikos, I think that Fage is slightly too tart and plus, I like eating my yo without any mix-ins, so, I always buy vanilla and Fage doesn't make vanilla.

1 container of Oikos Vanilla has 110 calories, a whopping 15 grams of protein, and only 11 grams of sugar (anything under 30 is considered fine with yo, because the milk alone usually has 12 or more).

Trader Yo

I often hit Trader Joe's to grab a few things and yogurt is always on my list, so, I've tried a lot of Joe's yo and here's the verdict, just not my thing. It's fine and suitable if necessary, and I know that Kath adores it, but, none for me.

Nancy's

Nancy's doesn't fall into any category really, just in the YUM category. With lots of flavors and a creamy texture, along with cool nooch stats with 120 calories, 12 grams of protein, and 17 grams of sugar.

The Best Hands Down

I love all of these yogurts and I love other ones too, but for my day to day yogurt addiction, only Wallaby will do!
My daily flavor is Vanilla Bean, but they have a ton of flavors, about 10 in nonfat and another 15 in lowfat, so, go for it!
Each has 180 calories, 9 grams of protein and 29 grams of sugar, so, though not the most nutritious on the list, it's still good for you and it's so incredibly tasty, it doesn't even matter. =)

So, go and get some yo!
